Posting limits

Ok so what is the point of "you must wait 30 seconds between posts" and " you must wait 60 seconds between emails" on this forum? Does it serve a purpose?

I am trying to report spam and the stupid forum makes me wait a full minute between reports. So if there are 6 threads that are spam, it takes at least that many minutes to get them all reported. That may seem like not very much time but really why is it necessary to wait at all. I am trying to perform a service ( one that the moderators cant seem to handle) and the forum is fighting me on it.

God this place is frustrating sometimes.

Is the traffic here really so high that these limits are necessary? I know these are in part to reduce server load but I dont really see that as an issue here, at least not yet.

Woof, I think that is just the default time. I'll check on that.

Also, did you report those? For some reason I didn't get notice of it. I'll have to check on that too.

i reported half or so but got tired of waiting on the limits so not all.
