You may have wiped out the HA and AAA authentication codes when you flashed. The Verizon users that flash to Alltel and others have this issue. There is a way to backup the codes thru various SEEMS and PST files. It is fairly complex and once the codes are lost no way to get them back. You say you followed the Monster2 guide, but I don't know if the details on saving the codes are in there as I have never used the guide. I tend to just do it my own way after researching thoroughly first. I got the details from a couple lengthy threads in HoFo's Verizon Motorola forum. KBMan is the one who figured it all out.(One thread has over 2000 posts, takes days to waller thru it all) I think they can be restored with new codes but it is done on cricKet's end. You can also try *22899 or the normal *228 if that don't work but I think that is a long shot. Of course I could be completly wrong and cricKet does EVDO some other way but from what I've read on EVDO authentication problems, your symptoms are textbook.
I gather you flashed away from cricKet firmware cuz tethering is disabled. If nothing else works you may have to call cricKet Tech Support for a refresh of your data services and hopefully it resets and gives you new codes.
I wish I knew more and could be certain of your problems but so many variables and such limited access to good information.

AFAIK you cannot tether with any cricKet branded phone. I could be wrong, esp. with some of the newest models like the Moto Z6M.

YES! u can tether on a moto phone but it requires u to flash to either alltel or generic firmware. but the z6m however cannot even really connect as a modem and most of the old moto tools dont not work on the z6m but yes u can tether on a k1m

Right, Motos can tether as long as you don't have the cricKet software. But you say the K1M can with cricKet software? What about the L7C with K1M software flashed to it? Does the cricKet Z6M have a Bluetooth dial-up network profile? If it does then that would be the way to tether, no need for software tools or a cable.
As for tools for the Z6M you will need RSD General ver. 5.1.6 for all your provisioning, PRL and other setup needs. It replaces the old PST software. Then for SEEM edits and a mess of other technical stuff way over my head use Radiocomm ver 11.3.2. Both those programs work well with all the new Motos with the MSM6550 chipsets. Those 2 versions work so well for me, (no glitches or crashing) that I use them for all my Moto phones. RSD 5.1.6 even works with Vista. One thing I noticed is RSD will read the HA and AAA codes in the MIP profile, lets you save them and I assume restore them after you do a monster flash. I was shocked when I saw the two boxes had data in there after reading the MIP file.

Slightly off the main topic at hand (sorry I can't help with your phone, Lexie). Anyway, I just got my new Motorola Rokr Z6M from Cricket yesterday and have been researching on how to connect to the internet through it. I've been reading various websites (including this one) and seem to be getting different answers such as you need to flash your phone, it can't be done, etc. Well, I just got everything up and running doing it through both Bluetooth and direct USB cable with no flashing necessary! This is a direct phone from Cricket, I ordered it off their website. Through bluetooth my conenction speed was around 130kb/s download and 65kb/s upload. USB the download speed doubled.

Again sorry for budding in, but I thought this might be useful knowledge for everyone.

    Exclamation Nokia 6275i Modem Tethering

I Need Help With This. We have EVDO in our Area, and we have the unlimited phone, web, text plan . . . .

I tried on the new Samsung R500, No Dice, Doesnt Support Lan Connection Sharing . . . So here is what i did using my Wife's Phone

    Using Windows And Mac Leopard:

Both Successfull BlueTooth Install and Connecting to the Phone, on Windows, Will Actually Hook and Dial the #777 but Gets Disconnected,

On Mac it says i got a crossed connection and to check my settings.

    My Cricket Tether Settings are:

    Phone: #777
    Account: MyCell #@mycricket.com
    Pass: cricket

I need help with this, Wish my Samsung R500 worked with this feature, it operates on EVDO not 1X

Im going to *228 the Nokia and get it on EVDO, maybe that will help?
