Thumbs up Sending Ringtones by Email Workaround Found?

It seems that lately Cricket has been deleting ringtones as attachments from emails.

But I think I have found a workaround.

Basically, you change the ringtone's filename extension to .MID, then email it to your phone without a subject or body: your10digitnumber@mms.mycricket.com

I haven't tested it myself, but if anyone else could confirm that would be great.

yea that usually works but alot of times it gets deleted because the file is too large but i found a really good site for ringtones its 3Guppies
it will format the ringtone for your phone and send it to u as a pic message and u can make ringtones out of any song u want

I'm having trouble with the 3guppies site. It sent a message to my phone, and I press "Download" but after a bit it says "Unable to Download".

    I have a Motorola SLVR L7c.

I have a Lingo and found that a USB bluetooth module that can be picked up at frys for about 20 bucks will talk to my phone... I use it to upload mp3's pic's wav's mid's and to download them as well...

    no more emailing my data

however I can't find any software that will get the phonebook etc... aka bitpim... none of them work....
