Annoying phishing scam from 6245 via text
Hello people in the forums,
I have gotten my second text message from 6245 asking me to dial a number. When I did, it turned out to be a scam.
It's asking for your credit card phone number, I didn't enter any and there was no option to talk to a living human being. I guess scammers are getting too lazy to answer in person; they just want to rake in the stolen goods without any effort on their part.
I wonder if Cricket can block these messages or report them to the authorities.
I hope nobody falls for such a scam...
If there's anybody at Cricket with some advice on what to do to stop these annoying messages to come to the phone besides Mr. Number; but most importantly, catch these thieves and send them to prison!!
Zac
