Auto-Rotate Samsung R915
Newbie here, sorry for a possible dumb question! I've got a Samsung R915 and not had any trouble until now. For the first time, I sent someone a text yesterday and used the slideout keyboard to type my message.
Now, everything I do goes to the "sideways" screen and the only way I can get it back to portrait is to slide out the kb and then push it back to the closed position. When I do so, the screen changes to portrait (standard) view.
I DO HAVE my settings set for "Auto-Rotate" but it doesn't seem to work any longer.
Can I get a little advice, please?

No one here seems to know the answer and I'm sorry to say, neither did a couple of "Techs" at my local store! The same day I made my original post, my Bluetooth also quit working. I thought it was the device but it checked out OK on another phone. So, I paid a visit to the store. The phone is only 1½ months old.
They couldn't find the solution to either problem so I was asked if it's OK to do a "reset to new" to see if that fixes it. I had no choice but to say OK since it's either that or a replacement phone. Upon reset, the auto-rotate was working again as is the Bluetooth. Like computers, who knows what evil lurks inside...
So, I was faced with the newness stuff again of settings, etc. I also have paid for and downloaded a few games from the Cricket site and the store Tech said I'd be able to do that again. Unfortunately, the Cricket web system almost stinks, 'cause I can't find any place to download again without adding money to my "bucket." Well, I accidently bailed my own butt out! I have an 8 gig memory card I added to the phone and guess what? the .APK files for my three games are on that card, so I got 'em re-installed, no thanks to lack of help from Cricket!
By the way, I also looked up the phone number of said local store and called them about the re-download to save a drive across town. Got a mandatory answering machine and my call has NEVER been returned. I have to say I'm not too thrilled with Cricket at the moment. I may just copy the text here of my original post and this reply and see if I can send this all to Customer Service.

You may not believe this, but for the past hour or so, I've been to EVERY link on the Cricket web pages and CANNOT find any way to contact someone from Customer Service by either email or text form message via the web. I don't relish a phone call to Customer Service for I feel like it's futile to "speak" the words in my above two posts. I hope I don't regret moving from Verizon Wireless to Cricket but at this point I'm NOT a happy camper about "communication" with Cricket Customer Service, or the word from the people in the local store.
