Unlocking Internet on Samsung i730 originally Verizon
I am wondering if any knows how to change dial up registry inside Samsung i730 from xxx-xxxx@vqzw.com to xxx-xxxx@mycricket.com without using a registry editor like Samsung PST lite?
The phone works great but can't get onto the internet.

I did it on a i700. It has to be pretty much the same. you use the #777 still just go make a new connection in my work network named Wap cricket-next-choose cell line-next-user is yournumber@mycricket.com/pass = cricket-finish
back at my network choose proxy settings tab, check both boxes and put "wap.mycricket.com" for proxy server
and click advanced. enter "wap.mycricket.com" in all four fields with port 8080, and ckeck socket 5, and click socket 5 and make sure your user (yournumber@mycricket.com) and password (cricket) are filled out. close window close next window. now back at connections click advanced tab and select network. make everything connect to my work network and close.
that should work for ya

Tried Settings. Also, tried PST Lite with USB cable.
The settings did not work. changed the settings inside my phone using PST lite with a USB cable. Changed settings as noted. Still no luck.
My problem is the setting inside the registry shows my#@verizon.com as opposed to @cricket.com. Changed this along with the password to cricket and still does not work.
Anyone have any success with PST Lite. If so, I will need detailed instructions.
Thank you.
