    Roaming Problem - Please Help

Hey folks, I'm having a problem with my Cricket phone and I need some help. I've been to the Cricket corporate store a dozen times and talked to the tech guys at 1-800-cricket a bunch and can't seem to get a solution. Heres the deal..

I just signed up for Cricket service in Lexington, KY a little over a month ago. I bought a SLVR phone from the store, so its not a flashed phone or anything. I signed up for the $50 Cricket Connect plan, and also the $5 a month 30-minute Nation-Wide Roaming add-on. However, the roaming would not work. When I leave town my phone just switches to "No Service." This is after having dialed *228 before leaving town having it successfully complete that process. I haved tried going to multiple places out of town and always just get the 'No Service" even when friends with different carriers have '5 bars' and great reception. So after going back into the store and having them try different things (I'm not sure what all exactly, although I know at one point they re-provisioned the phone). Finally, they decided it must be the phone itself and gave me a brand new SLVR, but it does the exact same thing. Next, they tried switching me to the $55 plan with the 100 roaming minutes, and it DID work. However, I dont need 100 minutes, I mostly need the roaming for emergency purposes. But I do need the unlimited web and 411, which isnt included in the $55 plan, so it would wind up costing me $63 for all that, which isnt acceptable. So I went back in and they switched me back to the $50 plan in hopes that I could just use the flex-bucket for roaming, but once again it will not roam with that plan; my phone goes straight to "No Service" when out of town.

It doesnt make any sense to guys at the store why I can roam on that one plan, but not on the others. Doesnt make sense to me either, but I dont know anything about it.

Can anyone please offer any insight?? I'm going crazy over here, Ive been to the Cricket store way way too much lately! Thanks for any help.

Right now the PRL Version is 5047. This is on the $55 plan that the roaming works on; I had them switch it back today so I can roam until I get a solution. Unfortunately I dont know what the PRL was when it wasn't working on the $50 plan.
