    Thumbs down *228 Help

    I recently tried that *228 thing to update my phone. It said it was sucessful, but ever since then I can't receive any incoming calls and when I try and dial somebody it beeps 4 times before ringing the person.....Help please...lol

    Wow, never heard of that happening. Did you try to activate it again and see if anything changes?

    Sorry for the dumb question, but when I was with Cingular (crapular as I call them) Just turning my phone off and then on again would update my phone. Does it work that way with Cricket/Jump, or do I have to dial *228 every once in a while to update my local calling towers?

    yea u have to dial *228 its pretty easy it tells u wut its doing on the screen u dont have to press nothing

    I got the phone flashed I dial *228 i get welcome to cricket but won't program can anyone help?
