I want to get Cricket.

I am soon planning to get Cricket(El Paso) and I had a few questions in mind. For those of you who have Cricket, do you like the service? How much and what will I have to pay to get the service when I first go in? How much is exactly each month if I get the $45 unlimited? Can I buy a used Cricket (branded) phone let's say from ebay and then take it in to Cricket so it can be activated? Would there be any problems? Will I still get the first month free and free activation if I buy the phone off of ebay or will I need to buy the phone there? Would it be better if I bought a phone off of ebay or at a Cricket store? Thanks so much in advance.

Good questions. I am not sure I can answer them all but....

I can't help you with exact prices since I have a couple of phones on one plan. You can buy a cricket branded phone from ebay and have it activated at the Cricket store.

The phones are more expensive at the store but you know exactly what you are getting. On some phones there is no way to no for sure if it was a cricket phone or not. I have heard some stories of people buying these phones on ebay and them not being cricket.
