Will there ever be full WAP access?

Hi, just bought a Motorola SLVR and the $50 a month plan here in Portland,Oregon. A real good deal in my opinion. I like the phone a lot...it'd just be even cooler if we had full WAP access on it. I've been using the google..hole to access things like my email (not on gmail or anything) , bus tracking, weather, etc. but it is a bit of a pain. Especially when many sites have a WAP page formatted for easy phone usage.

Any ideas on when WAP will be accessible? I always get 403 Forbidden on any WAP site. Or will this be a permanent situation? I like it either way, at least I can access stuff through google.

ya im not sure but rumors are going around that it will be unrestricted as soon as cricket releases EV-DO but im not sure im guessing you will jus have to wait it out then until then continue using google
