I have managed to get my a870 to accept the new cricket sid and I have gotten the esn and all other information I will need including the ability to get into the programming menu`s! Where im falling short is that no cricket stores around me will let me buy service with my new unlocked phone! They all tell me that it MUST be a cricket wireless phone. BAH!

They refuse to sell me service even when I tell them that I will program it and one lady even demanded that I leave the store. Is there some special phrase or something I have to say in order to get them to let me put service on this phone???

I really need some help from the pros here, if there is an automated 24 hour line I can buy service on please tell me! Im out in san diego, ca. Thnx and if I get this working ill post tutorial for other users!
