How Can I Switch My Kyocera Kx5 From Verizon Service To Cricket???pls Help

I recently purchased a phone from e-bay and pretty much got scammed supposed to be cricket phone...but is verizon service....they have left me to DEAL with this myself...needless to say i am leaving them negative feedback..if someone...anyone can help i would much appreciate it ...thanx

i didnt kno verizon got the kx5 .. but mm i kno you need to flash the phone and load the cricket prl to it..im not sure how but i know people here know..can anyone help him?

on the back of the phone, locate the ESN/DEC for a kx5 it usually starts with 034..... 11 digits all together. no "flash" is required if it is a true verizon phone with an esn/dec. Once you find that number, call 1800-Cricket, put your info into the automated system, and then do option 3, then option 4. You will get a live tech, tell them you want to do an esn change. Give them that 11 digit number. Once done, they will tell you to *228 the phone. DONT. *22804 the phone until it says successful. The prl downloads itself. No manual programming or flashing is required.
