Help on Flashing Samsung Instinct to Cricket

Hi everyone,

I am so confused as to why I am not getting on the cricket service provider. I have unlocked the phone throught CDMA workshop and have used 5 Cricket PRL files that I have gotten from Corolada PRL Page (which I got from a forum member here) and Nothing !! It seems I am still in the Sprint network.

I have read instinct flash [Archive] - Cricket Phone Talk and http://www.cricketphonetalk.com/foru...tinct-wap.html
and even seen some video tutorials on youtube and I just cannot get it!! I think my problem may be the PRL file ????

Question, once I unlock the phone to six Zero's, I do not have to do that Read SPC,Send,Write,etc thing each time I want to change the PRL, correct?

So Once it is unlocked to Six Zero's I can just go to the "Other" Tab >Universal PRL>write>browser for PRL and wait for it to automatically write it?
From there the next step after writing a cricket PRL would be to dial 611 to verify that I am on the Cricket network before proceeding to the ESN and *228 update, correct?


Please help, I am stuck and Don't know what else to try....

Any time you write the PRL to the phone or do anything with it the first thing you need to do is to send the SPC code to the phone, in your case the "000000" once you send it over, then you can write the PRL, i recommend trying PRL 01050, if it still doesn't work i would try redoing everything, just to make sure. hope this helps mate.

ok i believe i have done everything right..redone it about 12x now..when i dail 611 asks me to put in my home number and then tells me they are not part of the service provider to hang up and call my service provider directly.. have tried alot of prls and the lastest one being 1050..i do the *228 and it says connecting then just vanishes
