Limited browsing with the unlimited web option

Guys, may be I am wrong but I just got the $5 plan for the "Unlimited Web". Well, unless I am doing something wrong the unlimited web seems pretty limited to me right now. I tried "go to url", cnn.com, mapquest.com and a bunch of other sites and I get the message: FORBIDDEN 403.

What is going on??

I was able to check my gmails though...

Well, right now, it is basicly UNLIMITED "with-in the portal*" So yeah, for now, you can't enter any URLs.

*you can go to Google.com and site listed in the portal (through cricket's link, not google tho)

BUT if you go to Google.com, you can search for any site you want and go to most of them.

Then this is not even worth the $5 buck we are paying. They should call it the "the unlimited browsing for a worthless portal" plan.

well, it says Mobile WEB, or WAP Browsing. It does not say internet anywhere. I'm not sure of the exact reasons for this, or if this is going to change in the future. Still it is only $5 compared to $15+ on some other carriers. It is what it is. Don't like it? Don't use it.

Exactly. And that's what I did. I am saying this because if everyones unsubscribes it's not going to help Cricket. They need critical mass, but people won't go for it if the value/price ratio is not right.
