I've flashed a few. Voice and SMS text will work, but I strongly doubt that they've gotten WAP Mobile Web and MMS Picture Messaging to work. I am an expert phone flasher, mind you.....

No. Visual Voicemail requires proprietary provisioning offered only by Sprint at this time.

haha i mean I bought the phone and it got here this morning and i dont have a account with cricket yet... When i dial anything it brings me to American roaming network and says the phone isnt active in this area

1.) Go to the following website and enter the MEID under the battery and press "Convert":

L4 Digital | MEID / ESN Conversion

2.) Call Cricket OR visit an authorized Cricket dealership. Give them the Decimal MEID and the Pseudo ESN HEX from the link above to activate your account. They will give you your MDN and MIN numbers.

3.) On the phone, from the dialpad, enter ##000000# and then program it with your MDN and MIN numbers. (Cricket Customer Service probably WON'T do this for you!)

The Instinct will NOT program over-the-air (OTASP) with a *228! But if you entered your MDN and MIN correctly, you will have Cricket phone service working, voice and SMS text only.
