Roaming Plan vs. Add On Minutes
Apparently, I can buy roaming minutes in 3 ways. 1 - as part of a plan(for example at the $60 / month plan). 2 - with flex bucket. 3 - by adding roaming minutes to my plan as an 'add on' (for example in $5 increments added onto the $45 / month plan).
Also, there is a $15 dollar fee to 'downgrade' a plan.
I travel occasionally, and don't need roaming minutes often. But when I do, it will be a bunch.
Question - If I add roaming minutes to my $45 / month plan as an add on one month, and then drop it the next month, is that subject to the $15 downgrade fee?
I'm guessing the answer is yes. I've had an online chat rep tell me no, and a guy at the Cricket store also tell me there is no fee to drop add on features. I don't believe it. Anyone know for sure?
Thanks

the bolt on roaming packages ( $5, $10, $15) can be added and removed at any time WITHOUT any fees. The fee is only for changing your actual rate plan.
Two people tell you you can do it and you dont believe it. Why are you going to believe me?

Add the package....
if you change your plan you get $15 fee PLUS you have to mess with the proration issue. Just add the package and be done with it.
