LG Voyager VX10000 - Internet & Pic Issues

Alright. I got my LG Voyager fully flashed to Cricket today and it's not working. Doesn't seem that the dealer knew what he was doing cause he said that he garunteed that the Pic Message would work.

Well, I got it programmed by dailing the *228 and it was successful. Than tried the internet without success, getting errors such as "Communication - The Requested Host was not found."

Is there supposed to be a specific code for the PRL? Because there is a guy on YouTube that flashed his Voyager with Internet working and his PRL was 1040. Mine is something else, what could be the problem??

have u tried to load the 1040 like that one on you tube?
and check the sittings for the wap and MMS.

Is there any way to set up the phone where the data and the wap settings will not change back to verizon? Something to do with the "parameter fil & bitpim".

I used bitpim and i cannot seem to find the "osw".

Does anyone have an insight on this problem?

use 9900dll and it should work for the voyager. i have used this settings for most lg ... don't for get to back up first... good luck

I already set up the phone with the lg download pst. I am trying to set up the phone to where the wap parameters will not go back to verizon when the vx10000 is manually programmed.

I figured it out. The vx10000 does not have the OWS folder. The file I found to edit is the "fileDB" and change the "second to the last digit" from 0 to 1. I found the info on MOFO.

Aparrently the phone has to be activated first in order to get the wap and mms working. I'm not sure if this just applies to the vx10000.

I tried using lg download. I keeps giving me a Dm comport error. Any ideas why? I already changed it in the system props.
