    Travel Time

Ok so ive been really happy with Cricket until not, and unfortunalty i have to say goodbye.
the reason being i activated travel time because i do not get any reception in my building at work. I called Cricket and they said they would put it on a ticket to level 2? and they said the longest it will take is 2 weeks! Its been three weeks now. and i called back..and nothing! they said they dont have a soultion tio the problem yet. So i took my wifes phone to work to see ifthat will work too, she also has travel time enabled on her phone too. we both have the Xcursion.

when i made a roaming call i got the same thing......"welcome to verizon wireless, please stay on the line to make a credit card roaming call"

    lol umm no! lol

I have to have a cell phne tha works at work! so i have left and went to sprint. works great as where Cricket had no signal except for the roaming..but not working.

I am not her to diss cricket. I loved cricket! Great price, Great features! So i will miss you Cricket! , maybe down the road i will need you again!

Again i was not here to diss Cricket! Cricket is really cool, but it just doesnt fit my needs as of now.

I really wished though the travel time worked where i was....but its o well!

Everyone has to have something that meets their needs and Cricket is definitely not for everyone. I do think the coverage area is a big part of the decision. I never have in signal problems or dropped calls in my area so it works for me.

    Good luck with Sprint.

I have not used the Travel Time yet as I don't need it, but from what I have read about it in order to make a roaming call you have to dial *AWAY (*2929) before the number you're calling otherwise you end up on the roaming partners network and not Cricket's. Like I said I have not used it but that is what I understood from reading the FAQ's on the website. Is it a problem only in the market you are in? A co-worker of mine has Sprint here in Phoenix and many of the job sites we are on the boss ends up calling me to talk to him cuz his phone didn't ring due to lousy signal. But that's Phoenix, where Cricket has really good coverage over the entire metro area. They seem to have put a good amount of $$$ into this market cuz it wasn't that great when I first got on The Green Couch. Anyway good luck w/Sprint and hopefully Cricket will fix the problem soon.
