Text Messaging

Hi all 1st post here! I'm having a problem with my text messaging. I have cricket and my husband has alltel. When i send a text message to him i get an automatic reply saying that i have to use a 10-digit number and i do. i've even tried not using the are code but i still get that message.

Now when he send me a message i can reply back to him no problem.

Can anyone tell me the problem with this. Surely i'm not the only one having this problem.

That use to happen to me its either:

Try 1 then the area code or just the area code.


You have to use the area code btw.
