I purchased this phone from craigslist, its a cricket phone. I am not really sure if its a v3 and of course it came with no manual. I need to know how can I find out, is it behind the battery? And when I try to download ringtones from other sites, Cricket send me a msg saying error. So does this mean I cannot make my own ringtones as well as download them from any other site? This is frustrating. And is it true that there is not a data cable for my phone? Please help, I am frustrated.

take your battery cover, remove battery look for the letter c hope thats what u got hey u know what turn ur phone on go to menu, go to phone status, go to other information, go to technology. it should tell you right there. should say cdma plus other info ok now as far as i know i downloading from other sites is not allowed unless cricket has a contract with the site, why not just download mp3 ringtones or use mpt to make ur own
