Roaming? vx8500

i bought a vx8500(chocolate) on ebay and everything works like it should except i cant roam at all and *228 will not program. any ideas? its current prl is 1040.:confused:

The 1040 PRL is a non-roaming PRL.

You need to have a Cricket roaming PRL loaded onto your phone. You can find a Cricket Roaming PRL HERE:

You will need a USB data cable and a tool called LG Download to load the PRL onto your phone. PLEASE DON'T ASK ME how to do this: Follow the tutorial in my sig.
