problem with sms..............

i just got my samsung instinct in the mail today. i transfered my number to it, programmed it. the phone sends and recieves calls and will receive sms, but not send sms. i called cricket (they were no help AT ALL) and they told me to do the usual take out battery and then plug it back in. press *228. They even reset the settings on their end. hard reset, soft reset. none of the usual stuff worked. i dont know if the problem is cricket or if its the flash on the phone. i searched everything. all over. can't find the answer i need. Just a bunch of the usual bull. I am looking for an intellegent answer from someone who can tell me why my phone wont send sms. and what i need to do to fix it. thank you

This is a nationwide epidemic that cricket has caused. THIS IN NOT YOUR FAULT PEOPLE. CRICKET HAS CHANGED THE OLD CRICKET IP ADDRESS THAT WE ALL USED FOR 15.5 YEARS NOW TO A NEWER IP ADDRESS HERE IT IS 010.133.026.012 THAT ONLY EFFECTS FLASHED PHONES NOT THE CHEAPLY MADE CRICKET STORE JUNK. WE ALL HAVE TO GO TO THE CRICKET SHOP AND HAVE THEM SOMEHOW INSTALL THE NEW SOFTWARE AND WATCH THEM DO IT OR HAVE THEM TELL US SO WE CAN SHARE IT. THATS HOW I FOUND OUT TODAY WHAT HAS HAPPENED. I FULLY FLASHED A BLACKBERRY CURVE BUT TALK AND INCOMING TEXT ARE ONLY WORKING SO I GO TO THE LOCAL CRICKET AND THE ARAB GUY RUNNING TO JOINT WAS LIKE ITS CRICKET AND I CAN FIX IT FOR 15 DOLLARS I WAS LIKE PLAYING DUMD TO PUMP HIS ASS FOR MORE INTEL ON THE SITUATION TO REPORT BACK WHAT THE HELLS GOING ON. AND THE ARAB HAD A BOY WITH A RAG OF ALLAH :bowdown3: ON HIS HEAD TOLD ME WHEN THE ARAB LEFT THE COUNTER THAT ITS THE IP ADDRESS THAT CRICKET CHANGED AND IT IS ONLY EFFECTING THE FLASHED phones so i have spent 7 hours now looking for a way to change the ip address stored in the phone to the new one. someone will know or figure it out soon and post it here for us.:bow2:
